I’ll introduce myself first. My name is Dan Corron and I am the Scion Champion at Toyota & Scion of Des Moines. “Scion Champion?” you say. That is correct. What that title means is that I am the go to guy at the dealership for all that is Scion. I handle all of the everyday questions and concerns, product training, as well as all the events and promotions for Scion of Des Moines. The title is a little different but it’s a great position here at the dealership.

From the birth of Scion, (cool little factoid is Webster’s definition of Scion: a descendant of a wealthy, aristocratic, or influential family http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/scion ) it has attracted a customer that is just as unique as their vehicle line-up. One thing that I love about Scion owners is the wave to another Scion owner in passing. It’s a wave that acknowledges the fellow Scion owner as a member of their community. I hope you are the recipient of a few of these waves and feel free to join in if you hadn’t noticed this phenomenon before.

Some Scion owners in Des Moines have taken their passion for their cars and started a local chapter for the national car club called Scikotics. They meet at least once a month and travel together in caravan to different car show and events all over the nation.
